After Three [2017]

A liminal portion of the clock face is where relationship to self and one’s surroundings begins to waver. The night’s light takes on a different brightness, the subtle things are thrown into relief, you’re unsure of your companions, and you continue alone together.

There is a moment in time that lasts longer than you expect. There is a room in your house that is smaller than you think but larger than you know. There is a space to inhabit that is less comfortable than it should be. There is a meal that is waiting for you and getting warm. But first: close what is open.
