Without You, I’m Missing [2018]

An improvisational dance film with guided directives suggesting the creation of self through even the smallest connection. Who you are, who you were, and who you will be are a constant flux of perspective, which can be altered by a passing glance of a stranger or the absence of someone you hold close.

…When they turn away from each other’s eyes to the place that they’re in, the arbor has become a barren tract of lines and objects…Then the world begins to erase itself, then redraws back to the wild, only to disperse and decay again. They hold onto each other as if the earth might crack open, but nothing rumbles, nothing shakes…The barren tract erases, redraws, becomes the New Wilderness. Then the ghost of the former grows and embeds in the new. Then the new leaves its residue in the former…
