Making P(l)aces [2018]

The map is a two-dimensional object delineating a space, a landscape, or an idea. This object exists solely to suggest that something else exists beyond it: a reality, a third dimension not necessarily of depth, but perhaps of emotion or situation or circumstance. Here, the flat and sterile environment of two-dimensionality is expanded into a third dimension to yield a deep map of the everyday.

Forearm Score and Walking Score, No. 1

Scores were built for this work that center on how we can measure space and come to better understand our automatic journeys- those journeys of the everyday that occur so frequently they are generally unconsidered. The scores can be found here and here.
